Ecologists and economic experts are concerned about the long run of fish in our world. In an article in the well-known Technology journal it was stated by ecologists that we could run out of fish in our world by the year 2048. This data was acquired by considering in present conditions and forecasting the long run state of the world and its waters. This decline will be due to several aspects which include overfishing, global warming, contamination, and other ecological aspects.

It is approximated that the person with average skills takes in 17 kg of fish annually. Over 80% of all fish communities are over-exploited or are trying to get better from exploitation. The fishing market has mismanaged their fishing methods and that has led to the decline experts say. The only practical way of recovering a fish species’ inhabitants in a certain place is to present secured supplies and then ban fishing in that location.

Did you know that more than half the fish we eat comes from fish farms in China? That variety can go up to 80 %, but even fish farms have their problems. Fish farms are not very good for the environment; they create harmful run-off which pollutes the sea.

Sharks are also in decline and their inhabitant has reduced by 80 % over the past few years. When fishermen grabs seafood they also take in other sea animals like sharks and turtles in their netting. Currently less than 1% of our sea are secured by the government authorities globally. The number is predicted to go up by up to 10 % due to new contracts.

Recent research has shown that only 10 % of large fish such as cod, tuna, and salmon remain in the sea. Fish shares have dropped 90 % since the 1950’s. This decrease in human population is experienced globally, from the posts to the equator. A part of the fault can be found on the government’s shoulder as they are funding the fish market to continue fishing. With better control we wouldn’t find ourselves in this situation.

To restore delicate communities of fish you would need to cut fishing down by at least 50 % for several years.

Rising sea temperature ranges and sea acidification are also having a positive change on the fish inhabitants. International heating is creating deceased areas in our sea where fresh air runs out and fishes die off. With the extension of global temperature increasing, it is predicted that more deceased areas will be created. These deceased areas usually happen around the equator where it is most popular.

Global heating is also having an effect on the fish in Canada. Due to the increase in temperature in the water large numbers of fish aren’t able to thrive.

Ocean acidification is also eliminating our barrier reefs which provide environment for many varieties of fish. As the reefs die out, the fish are having nowhere to go and they die.

In order to safeguard our present fish inhabitants and ensure the safety of our varieties of fish we must do more to secure them. Governments must put tighter recommendations in place to secure marine lifestyle. A significant amount of this problem is man-made, so that means we can still modify the result if we modify our routines fast enough.
